Tyrion Lannister had always been fascinated by dragons. Since the first time he saw a drawning of Balerion, the Black Dread, in one of his father´s old books, he had wanted to see one. Since the first time he touched a dragonbone, all warm and smooth and black between his hands, he had wanted to touch one. Since the first time he mounted a horse (even thought it had been with awkward, stunted legs, and a special saddle) he had wanted to know what was it like to mount one. When he saw for the first time the skulls of Balerion, Meraxhes and Vhagar in the dungeons of the Red Keep, Tyrion thought he wouldn´t want anything else in life. He was wrong, and he knew it when he saw Daenerys Targaryen, the Dragonqueen, for the first time.
