Notes
Someone needs to write a new musical a la A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, but based on the Raffles stories by E.W. Hornung. In the meantime, here's a part-period, part-faux-period, part-overwrought-gay-love-story version that will do to be going on with.
What! You don't know who Raffles is? Go immediately to this wonderful site, from which I burgled my cover art: http://www.rafflesredux.com/
Incidentally, I am not responsible for the automated tagging of this playlist with the horrifically punctuated "musical's."

Honestly, this mix is so above and beyond anything I've seen on this site that I'm actually crying while laughing. It's beautiful and makes me desperately want a real Raffles musical. Well done! ⃠

@canarypaper Thanks very much! I really enjoyed putting it together. By a funny coincidence, when you were listening to it, I was at a concert where I met Jeremy Clyde, who plays Raffles in the excellent BBC radio plays. And if you'll pardon a moment of self-promotion, you might also enjoy this: https://sarahollidaybooks.com/2017/11/08/his-friends-and-his-relations/ All the best -
