what makes a monster?
focus on chimera ant arc and gon-san. i really like the repetition in the later arcs that gon's a really fucked up kid. his determination puts himself and his friends at risk, and his moral compass is "askew". it's repeatedly said that he is a monster or has something dark inside him.

Off his hinges Gon is my favorite Gon. His pureness and youth lend themselves to terrifying oversimplifications about violence and killing and betrayal.
