Peak a little closer, keep
your finger light on top
of the button, wait,
for the perfect time,
when light swaps across,
when sound starts to turn
mechanical, and moments
turn into still frames
capable of being held,
for days, months, years,
yearn for the unforgotten,
let go of those who do not
have pictures to remind of history
let the moments pass, capture
what you find important, frame,
keep the memories alive,
paint darkness with light.
