After her girlfriend’s untimely death, Leyla begins to spiral downward into darkness. She embraces the devil and turns against God, hating him for stealing the love of her life away from her and leaving her alone to blame herself. However, she quickly learns that she might actually be on the right path when she discovers that her grandfather has a dark secret: he accidentally killed a young girl and he’s keeping her spirit locked away in a hidden room. Leyla finds the room and the angry girl desperate for freedom and willing to kill to get it, but Leyla’s the only person she can’t possess or harm because Leyla bears the mark of the devil, meaning she’s under his protection, making her safer than she ever was with a cross around her neck.
