After spending four years in college, entering the adult world – the “real world” – can be disorienting. Here are the songs that I heard while I was missing Mount Holyoke College and braving adulthood. Most of the artists on these songs had one way or another shaped the person who I was in college, and helped me adjust to post-grad life. When I started living on my own, when I began my job and when I learned how to cook for myself at the end of the day, these songs aided me. They made me more appreciative for the life that I had lived at Mount Holyoke, while also reminding me to look toward the future.
