Notes
Other than powerful, soulful vocals, there is no better lead to Carnatic music than a mellow violin. Nothing is as soothing, as touching and just as heart-rending as these renditions by names like T N Krishnan, L Subramaniam, the Madras String Quartet and Ganesh-Kumaresh, alongwith a cup of steaming hot filter kaapi.
Enjoy!

Do you have any idea where I can get the Madras String Quartet album? I've tried itunes, flipkart, amazon and none of them have it. (I've even tried illegal downloads, but no luck there either!)

@morrisesque I'm looking for them too! I had the CD a long time ago, but I lost the music while changing computers.
