Derek is born with two timers, one on each wrist, counting down to the day he meets his soulmates. He runs into Stiles (literally) on their first day of freshman year in high school and meets Jennifer in college when they're assigned to work together for an English group project.

Jennifer and Stiles meet in the elevator on the way up to Stiles and Derek's apartment. Jennifer isn't impressed.

It's an adventure in too-small beds and trying to uncover one thing Jennifer isn't good at (painting, the harder she tries the more disastrous the results are), but the three of them are happy.
