1st in a series of drum & bass mixes by year featuring lots of anthems and my personal favorites. The series will progress until the mid-late 2000s.
1997 starts light/jazzy and transitions to dark/hard. Lots from the likes of Roni Size, Photek & Optical.

I always referred to 97 as the 'golden age of drum n bass', so I'm really excited to hear this.!

Hopefully you liked it! I stuck mostly to the darker/techy stuff here so left out a lot, but yeah all these tracks take me back. 97/98 is about when i got into dnb so it's got a special place for me.
