"In the early 60`s Werner Müller was one of the most well-known German orchestra leaders. Werner Müller was born in Berlin in 1920 and in 1948 he started the RIAS-Tanzorchester. He backed many German pop-singers and recorded music of a wide variety."

All of these recordings are vinyl classics, some of them you can find on Andreas Mischalke's great Berlin Beatet Bestes-blog (see mix description for link) and get them for free. Note: In his later years Müller also wrote some thrillers.
Maybe there will be some more mixes here featuring easy listening sounds from Germany by guys like Müller, Paul Kuhn (bandleader of Müller's orchestra's rival, the SFB-Tanzorchester), Horst Jankowski (Müller's successor as bandleader at RIAS-Tanzorchester) or Bert Kaempfert.
