I can still feel his heart beating so slowly in my hands, pressed against his chest. My own heart manages itself to stop as soon as the feeling comes by. My own heart wants to stop beating as I imagine how extraordinary we could be. How extraordinary we were.
It was pure and heavenly, like a 5 year old kid, but also passionate and wild, the way only rebellious teenagers could understand. And it was long gone.
