A modern Faust retelling with some Dante's Inferno thrown in. A disillusioned ex-grad student sells her soul to Satan, so he'll be her friend. Satan, hurting and resigned to his fate, has to get used to human life and feelings of regret he refuses to acknowledge. Both he and Sibyl, or Sib, have to reconcile with their lost family and estranged parents. Drama ensues.

And yes, this happens in Georgia.
