All You Need Is Prog!

Thanks, your mix is very cool. My mix is not only going off of the flow and feel but somewhat chronologically as well. Also, I decided to not keep it within the confines of the prog-rock genre and its sub genres (of course I omitted artists like Camel, Gong, The Flower Kings, Transatlantic, Spock's Beard, Dream Theatre, Porcupine Tree, etc). Hence, this mix includes artists that were the roots of it, the mainstays, and those of other genres (British Metal, Jazz, Jam Band, 80s New Wave, Alternative, etc.) who embraced it and used elements of prog into their brand of music. To show that regardless of success or failure, that artist took a gamble in doing something different against the grains of what the record company wants. The ideal of prog is to be forward thinking, standing one's ground and keeping integrity.
