What a great mix! I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this one. Lots of my favorite artists here, plus I got to discover some new ones - I had no idea that Mudcrutch was the core band that would later become Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, much less that they had recorded a reunion album! I attended a Radney Foster concert recently and he gave a big shout-out for Darden Smith. Been meaning to check him out. Also I was really glad to discover Brigitte DeMeyer. Was impressed to read that Will Kimbrough and Mike Henderson are in the band on the CD 'Rose of Jericho.' Mike Henderson is one of my favorite artists - he can play traditional country, americana and blues equally well. Anyway, I put lots of DeMeyer's albums in my wishlist. Thanks so much.

Hey, Kez. Sorry it took me a little while to respond. Thanks for the nice note. It was fun to see which songs turned up on your favorite list. I just saw Donna the Buffalo perform in San Francisco. They don't get out to the west coast very often and they are my favorite live band, so it was definitely a treat. Not sure i've ever heard them sing Seminole Wind in a concert, but it's a great tune. I've never seen Darden Smith perform, but he's going to be playing next month at my local club, The Freight and Salvage in Berkeley. Looking forward to it. That Mudcrutch album is great. I discovered it when after I saw The Waybacks perform Shady Grove - was just searching for a download and stumbled on it. I'm slowly working my way through your 8tracks catalog. Thanks for all your hard work - love it!
