Rediscover your French classics or simply enjoy them for the first time. Listen, and breath the air of Paris, the sweet hand of la Seine on your shoulders.

Some of the music I grew up listening to around the house. Man, my childhood was pretty awesome given how much great music I was surrounded with.

A collection of mostly instrumental tracks with a distinctly noirish touch - the term is, of course, quite loose, but the list should go well with those sleepless nights of contemplation, studying or drifting in the city flaneur-like.

From the late '40s to the early '60s, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, on the left bank of the Seine in Paris, was the heart of the intellectual and artistic life in France. The musical landscape: jazzy song and pure "chanson française".
I chose, with care and love, 35 songs among my favourite ones. Several were written/composed by Boris Vian, the soul of Saint-Germain, and Serge Gainsbourg, his worthy heir. The other ones are brilliant too.
