I wanted to get away from making seasonal mixes, so I made this 12 disk volume by assigning a crazy theme to each mix with no relation between them. The ideas came from wanting to build mixes around certain sounds that stood out or theme ideas (like a mixtape theme-challenge). This volume runs from #225-236 in my 8tracks archive.

Yeah, there's some turn of the last century blues tracks that open and close the mix, but most everything in here is from 2005 or later. I liked the idea of taking these newer artists with a Neo-blues sound and kind of highlighting the style. More modern and smokey lounge indie than blues, but you'll get it or ya won't.
