I wanted to get away from making seasonal mixes, so I made this 12 disk volume by assigning a crazy theme to each mix with no relation between them. The ideas came from wanting to build mixes around certain sounds that stood out or theme ideas (like a mixtape theme-challenge). This volume runs from #225-236 in my 8tracks archive.

I wanted to capture the sound of hearing starlight from the ground, and then the feeling of lifting off the earth and flying through them. This is one of those sparkly / glimmery / clickhop / beeps and bops / shimmer-rock mixes I loaded up on in Vol. 13, so if you like this mix I'd go check those 12 out as well....
