Nobody's ever seen it. It's not even that dark, at least not yet. I don't know if it's the moon, the earth, the wind, the crashing waves, the night, the endless expanse of the universe, chemicals and physiological processes, blocked chakras, the depths of my psyche, my ancestors, my wild side, my soul, the collective unconscious, something spiritual or supernatural, things unexpressed, regrets, death, life unlived, sheer insanity, the afterlife or lack thereof; none of these things or all of them. But something is calling.
