Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado aka Farruko was born May 2 1991 in Bayamon Puerto Rico. At 16 he began to post his tracks to MySpace which propelled his popularity on the web; opening up the doors to present his work on Puerto Rican radio stations. From his 1st single "Sexo Fuera del Planeta to his debut album with El Talento del Bloque at 18, his talent soon aligned with Arcangel, Daddy Yankee & Yomo. This carried on with the collaborative songs "Su Hija Me Gusta" with José Feliciano, "Ella No Es Facil" with Cosculluela, & "Traime a Tu Amiga" with Julio Voltio. He won the Premios Juventud for the track "6 AM" with J. Balvin, the 2015 Latin Grammy Awards for Best Urban Performance & the 2015 Best Urban Song.
