Hip Hop; this style of music in the 70’s was often thought of as “talk the walk rap” on the South Bronx streets. The development of this music not only transformed the street gangs in economically and socially oppressed ghettos, but created a new way for music artists and youth to articulate lyrical story lines about life within the communities around them.
