For those who didn’t know, daisy flowers are a close relative of the artichoke and are often referred to as "day's eyes." Daisies are loaded with vitamin C and can be added to soups and salads as both the pedals and leaves may be eaten. Some believe a daisy symbolizes pureness and innocence whereas others put faith in the “loves me, loves me not” pedal plucking outcome.
