Some experts say the skin has more bacterial lifeforms vacationing on it than the world’s entire population. Being the body’s largest organ, the skin has lots of resorts for organisms to hang out on; moist climates like behind ears, the underarms and belly buttons. For desert getaways, dry skin on the forearm, palms, and elbows make for perfect retreats. Don’t worry these destination points for the bugs have coexisted with the body since the beginning of time.
