this is the first in what i hope to be a series that i'm doing for people where i am prompted with a word or phrase and build a playlist from there, the title being the phrase i am given

this is a good one and reminds me a lot of my past and the shame i felt w/r/t who i became vs. who i wanted to be/felt i was expected to be even though those expectations were entirely self-imposed and largely delusional. i was very clumsy emotionally and it was not as endearing as it sounds. a lot of my insecurities were rooted in my perceived failures, which is a theme in some of these songs
