synopsis: for kosaku, what starts as a harmless one-sided crush on his coworker ultimately ends in his death. kira notices kosaku's infatuation and simply plays along. meanwhile, kosaku's marriage with his wife shinobu declines further than before the deeper his passion for kira becomes. by complete chance, kira ends up using kosaku's weakness for him against him when he murders him and steals his identity to escape being caught by josuke.
