Sometimes it's really hard to love yourself, especially when your circumstances and the people around you all seem to make you feel completely unworthy of love. The struggle to acknowledge those hard feelings, accept that they aren't true, and turn them into positive thoughts can be overwhelming and seem impossible at times. But--and this is the most important part--eventually, it will be true. You won't find reasons to beat yourself up, your brain will stop lying to you about who you are and what you mean to people.
