ANNOTATIONS:

a young witch and their lover are introduced.

suddenly, the witch’s lover falls sick and dies. distraught and heartbroken, the witch vows to do whatever it takes to bring them back.

the witch travels to new orleans to learn the black magic of necromancy. with their newfound skills, the witch brings their lover back to life.

as the witch’s powers of necromancy grow, they are consumed by its darkness.

after an act of black magic too evil to ignore, the lover must turn the witch over to the townspeople to execute. when the witch is killed, the necromancer’s curse is fulfilled. everyone knows that to give life, life must be taken.
