No hero possesses limitless energy. Even the gods must rest between battles. Limbs tire and muscles weaken. All must seek refuge before the next battle, before they take another step upon the path they take.
A foggy copse, an abandoned building, an old church, or even the crooked ruins of an ancient city may be the only shelter available. Places that may be as dangerous as the path they follow, but without sleep, a hero can only go for so long before exhaustion takes them.
