Holy, you don't know how happy i am to find your playlists. I love japanese culture, music, tradition, art and basically everything from japan. Your playlists are simply amazing.

@LeinadDC @redbatrecords @Weedface420 Bought something recently that you just might enjoy. It is a recording by The Symphonic Orchestra of Montreal. The Maestro is Kent Nagano. The recording is a compilation of Japanese children songs/lullabies or ''shoka'' that were composed in late 19th and early 20th century. The lyrics are based on Japanese poems and the music is mostly occidental. v

@LeinadDC Thank you so much! It really means a lot. Comments and reactions like this are why I post world music. I specifically grew up listening to classical Japanese music, but it's gotten a lot harder to find these days. It seems like the Web is mostly inundated with anime soundtracks and j-rock instead (not that there's anything wrong with those genres), so my goal is to prevent beautiful cultural traditions from being lost in favor of commercial pop-art. I'm glad it's making an impact, and thanks for the encouragement. I'm not stopping any time soon, so keep on checking back :)
