Notes
This brief period of time in history nonetheless was severely troubled. The Spanish Flu pandemic wiped out between 20 & 40 million of the world's population, causing more deaths than World War I. I was hoping that maybe with music that had specifically been written or recorded in that narrow time frame, we could begin to imagine it. I hope it gives you insight and you enjoy it. Eight tracks including music by Al Jolson, Charles Hart And Lewis James, and Juilliard String Quartet.

wow... amazing way to address the time period. What a beautiful way to archive such an existentially tragic time period. People now think the statistics were closer to 100,000,000 people. Comparable to the Bubonic plague in portion of the human population taken from the Earth. Thank you for this.
