the thunder sounded like drums, warning us of the storm. we spun around and temped the skies, and when the rains came, we rejoiced and let mother nature hold our fate. the sea wept for forgiveness and the skis cried out for truth, and we cleansed our hands in their requests. the sky ignited with fury and painted the earth with sadness, yet we drank its curse and cried out for more.
