I was eager to see which Slipknot song you chose and what with all their lyrics about disease and sickness I was expecting massive tone whiplash. But then the song played anticlimactically because it fits much better than I was expecting.

@frigid-princess I should have gone to town and picked something more hardcore! (Vermilion Pt. 1 would also kinda work tbh but those two songs defined my fifth grade darkfic-writing experience, there can be only one.)
