overall thoughts: every yr always starts off slow in terms of new music, but january didn't do too bad tbh. in terms of this list specifically, my tastes lately have been skewing toward down-tempo jams and high-energy bops, which is def reflected here, baring one or two exceptions. the usual. a lot of dudes, but nothing i can do abt that. hopefully feb does better in that respect.

stand outs: Roco Drama (by Shin Hyesung), Pricked (by WINNER), and I Am You, You Are Me (by motherfucking ZICO. i cannot believe).
