Interesting song "Barracuda", definitely sounds like a demo or early version of Drunken Butterfly. I think I even prefer this one.

@School97 Indeed it is! From Sonic Youth's website: An early version of "Drunken Butterfly" recorded during demo sessions for 'Dirty'. The working title "Barracuda" was a reference to the Heart song of the same name (SY thought the song sounded like Heart, and in fact the "Drunken Butterfly" lyrics are all cut and pasted from various Heart songs).

Sooo much childhood on this list. I remember seeing the movie when I was about 9, and it excited/scared the crap out of me. (It definitely gave me some ideas, and at the very least, instilled in me a laissez faire attitude about substance use in school). This list is going to be on repeat for a long, long time. BRAVO!

So glad you dig this EM! I must admit I came late to the Over The Edge party (saw it a few years ago for the first time I think). Which is probably a good thing, or I would have been even more unmanageable as a teen! I actually thought about your duet with Peterson a bit while making this, (the throwing rocks at trains one). That would have been the "Next Mix" had it not been for Samploid's OTE mix. Anyway, cheers!
