Notes

"I liked myths. They weren't adult stories and they weren't children stories. They were better than than that. They just were. Adult stories never made sense, and they were slow to start. They made me feel like there were secrets, Masonic, mythic secrets, to adulthood. Why didn't adults want to read about Narnia, about secret islands and smugglers and dangerous fairies?" -- Neil Gaiman, The Ocean at the End of the Lane

That is so kind of you to say! I did put a fair amount of "research" and time into making it, so it's really nice to hear someone appreciated it!

This is a real beautiful playlist. The music selection was wonderful. Every song kept with the specific tone you set. Nothing felt out of place at all. I heard quite a few new songs that I absolutely adore, so the choices were not overdone in any way. This playlist is the perfect tool for writing and getting into that dark fairytale mood and I absolutely adore this playlist. I look forward to many more listens.
