For three year prior to the Long Game, Sho Minamimoto & Koki Kariya had an odd relationship; flirting implications with almost unwanted feelings developing underneath. The Long Game comes just as these feelings become less unwanted; the duty to their city comes first. Post the Long Game, while struggling to understand just why Sho had willingly condemned himself to the Taint as everything started to work for them, Kariya stopped resisting his emotions & provides what little comfort he can to the fallen king of the concrete jungle until his soul is nothing more than space dust.
