time slows when the autumn air dances,
her short, tender breaths that weave through and throughout your hair
and soft hands that warm your cheek as they soar across the hills,
she pauses only for the fleeting chance to whisper in your ear,
"everything is okay."
Yet tomorrow, fall will have fallen and she will be gone,
carried away by a brutish november chill,
and the beauty that seemed to last for eternity will be nothing more
than the forgotten touch of a september breeze.
