When I was a young kid in the 70s I would listen to these types of songs on a little transistor radio in my bed. The sound was tinny and all treble. As I grew up I passed them by as others took their place. Recently, I was introduced again to some of these songs and the sound was fresh rich, the melodies sweet and so well produced I decided to check others out.
