His dark humour. Her sunnny disposition. His frosty glares. Her heated arguments.
And then –
Cruel remarks. Kind words. Feather-light touches. Bruising kisses. Purified. Soiled.
She can no longer tell what is black and what is white. She is no longer sure if such simplistic dualism even applies to her world.
