i feel the darkness consuming me. i feel the metallic taste of blood on my mouth. the faint sounds of the carnival music is ringing in my ears and all i see is a distant memory. i open my eyes. gently. one. two. three and i breathe. i see the silhouette of a strange individual infant of me. i blink and its gone. my eyes gently close again, my breath slows down and i feel a strange peacefulness descending upon me. one more breath and all i can see is black.
