Because while Achilles was definitely a key player, Agamemnon's greed, Menelaus' loss, Paris' cowardice, Patroclus' sympathy, Hector's love for family and state, Odysseus' wittiness, Diomedes' sheer awesomeness and Ajax the Greater's overwhelming muscles were just as important, among the traits of other mortals. War was really shitty to all of 'em.
