I remember thinking that indie/alternative music started getting REALLY good, once the 2000's came around. I went to Coachella annually around then, as well as frequented many local small music venues in San Francisco and Los Angeles around that time period. I loved all the great new music I was hearing! The shows were exciting live too! What a fun time that was.
