For every word in the dictionary, there’re thousands of songs written about them. You don't believe us? Well, we’ll prove it to you.

It’s quite simple. Here on Word It Out, 6 music lovers will compete with each other to complete a weekly challenge.

1 word, 1 mix-tape, 8 songs. In a weekly basis, each one of us will select a word and post an 8-track mix-tape based on it.

The basic rule: the word has to be present on the songs title and/or be the prominent topic of it’s lyrics.

To make it really interesting, we’ll use the scrabble punctuation system. The more long and complicated the word is, the more points it gets.
