Born and raised in rural Canada, Elena’s music portrays the raw honest emotions of a girl making her way to adulthood by way of New York City. Having grown up homeschooled in northern British Columbia, Elena began classical piano training at the age of 6, in addition to guitar and violin. A natural-born storyteller, she learned to convey her passion through songwriting. Elena’s love for music and drive to make it her life’s work led her to New York City. That journey led to an exploration of every avenue of music, and Elena’s classical and country roots eventually began being displaced by a fervent and wild love affair with electronic indie-pop. The intensity that lies at the core of Elena as a person shines through her music - nostalgic lyrics calling out the dark and mysterious parts of life, weaving electronic melodies built on a foundation of classical music training, and a pulsing fearlessness, guiding listeners to find the thrilling parts in every moment of their lives.
