DJ/Producer Curtis Atchison is the creator and one half of the production team known as Midnight Society. His music career dates back to 1991 where Curtis hosted his own weekly mixshows at Salem State College (WMWM 91.7FM) and was a frequent guest DJ for afterhour shows on MIT College Radio (WMBR 88.1FM) for over 6 years. It was these shows where Curtis began to develop his skills and unique taste for underground house music. His constant appearances on college radio lead to guest DJ slots and residencies in some of Boston’s most popular clubs such as The Loft, Axis, Avalon, Manray, Europa and Karma. After holding court as a residency at The Loft and in the Axis Up lounge for two years, Curtis moved to New York in 1998 to further pursue his goals as a DJ and to also start venturing in the world of production and remixing. A chance encounter at the former Club Vinyl introduced him to DJ/Producer Erik Reyes, who would quickly become one of his best allies and eventually the other half of Midnight Society.
