I'm on my way to discovering who I am on my journey through recovery from both substance abuse and mental health issues. Music is most often where I find freedom and healing in the midst of life's storms. I also feel especially spiritual when surrounded by the quiet spaces in nature-atop a mountain, near the violently crashing waves of the ocean or perhaps beside a placid lake or rushing river, or looking up at the night sky in all its vastness and starry beauty.
