The California Jam was successful enough that it had a sequel: The California Jam II held March 18, 1978, at Ontario Motor speedway in Ontario , California. The California Jam shows of 1974 and 1978 represented new paradigm of "Rock Festivals". The improvisational days of "Woodstock" were over, the modern era of the hyper-organized festival had begun. (FYI to my followers this was my 1st Concert)
