Notes
Side B: Quite Sad
I will cut you a slice of the moon. A crescent of luminescence, just thin enough to dissolve in a cool cup of tea. Evening in Missoula, if you like. And if that doesn’t do the trick, I’ll take you on a stroll through the sky. We can gaze out from behind our eyelids together at a bouquet of comets. Perhaps a light shower of stardust will settle on our skin, like a sugar storm. And if all else fails, I’ll take you home again. I’ll give you my last spoonful of sleep syrup, and we can stir it into your leftover tea. Give it a half hour and I promise sweet dreams.
Made for Ryan.
