So I haven't made any festive playlists this year because my Dad was very ill and now he's passed away. I've been feeling so many things, shock, grief, depression, despair, sadness, numbness... Music has been helping me through this dark passageway of loss, so here are a few songs to express what I'm feeling after standing out in the snow on a wintry Canadian afternoon in the cemetery, the bundled up blobs of my family standing in a circle as we sang a quiet old song and laid my dad's body to rest.
