This music was heard in the late summer of 1983, coming from the tape deck of a white Dodge Ram parked at the Dairy Queen. Onlookers, intoxicated with wonder, used these songs as a scripture for their own redemption, for the driver of the van was Thoth, the old god, and he saved them.

This is a kind of 70s, early-mid 80s underbelly- of-Americana playlist, with private-press folk-psych weirdos juxtaposed with transcendent new age, uneasy disco and Euro synth-prog.
