villains aren't born, they're made. sometimes people make others into the perfect villain - a horrific force of nature. but it's not unheard of for someone to vilify themselves. why? what's the point in making yourself a monster? is there anything to be gained by throwing yourself to the demons lingering in the darkness?

i suppose i'll never understand what it's like to feel that helpless.
